Gamma-ray projectors are portable and light industrial radiography devices.

They are composed of:

  • A projector which can contain an Iridium 192 source from 100 to 150 Ci.
  • Source Holder.
  • 10.5m Handle Grip Control Assembly.
  • 2.1m Source Guide Tube Extension.
  • Directional Collimator, Tungsten, 60 or 90 deg.
  • Panoramic Collimator, Tungsten, 360 deg.

IPSI is also resealer of radioactive sources in the gammagraphy field.

Sentinel Gamma-Ray Projector

SENTINEL™ designs and manufactures a complete range of gamma ray projectors for industrial radiography sources (Iridium-192, Cobalt-60, Selenium-75, etc.).

The SENTINEL™ 880 Delta Elite and Omega source projectors are portable, lightweight, compact, and designed for field use.

They feature a patented body consisting of a titanium "S" tube with a depleted uranium shield.

These projectors can be fitted with the following accessories:

  • Remote controls, complete with crank, casing, "Teleflex" type cable, and safety connector assembly.
  • Flexible stainless steel ejection tubes with vinyl coating.
  • Directional and panoramic collimators designed to contain and direct the gamma ray beam during exposure. A wide range of collimators have been designed to suit every situation and application of the techniques used.

The SENTINEL ™ 880 Delta Elite gamma ray projector can be mounted on our IRIS 10 crawler series by using our "IPSI" adaptation kit.
